Eye to Eye

How close are you willing to get to snap that lizard picture? If he sneezed, my lens would have gotten wet. Admittedly, once those lizards find a nice rock to sun on, they don't like to give them up! Some have nice little blue spots but this one was pretty typical.

A Later Alligator

Found this Fence Lizard on the trail at Torrey Pines sunning himself. I really enjoy the mosaic of colors on these guys including the baby blue spots. They're pretty fearless too, meaning that you can get close enough to take a picture without them running off.
