Here's a Cattleya lueddemanniana that's blooming in my greenhouse. The original species comes from the hot coastal jungles of Venezuela. However, the fine ones you see in cultivation have been line bred since the 1800's. This one is a nice even light lavender with that trademark catchy lip.
