Wild Buttercup, Ranunculus occidentalis, Santa Rosa Plateau, California. Quite different from the line bred hybrids that grace the flower fields of Carlsbad, California. These bright little flowers are born up high on delicate stems and cover whole fields as they gently sway in the breeze.
